docSTAR the Electronic Storage and Retrieval System that is simple and easy to use.
The
docSTAR is powerful, yet easy to operate, supporting Front End, Back
End and Distributed Workflows, it is a fully networkable system, which
allows users to scan, file, retrieve, print, e-mail and fax documents
from their workstation.
Documents
are scanned utilizing a high speed scanner. Documents may be 2 sided,
11x17 or color. Documents can also be acquired from other imaging
devices, such as large format scanners, digital copiers and fax servers.
Documents
are selected and indexed according to customer's application. Depending on the
source, documents may be fully indexed based on any
word which appears in the document, allowing full text retrieval
capability. Once indexed, documents are permanently stored using a
two tiered storage system supporting both removable Optical Media and
RAID technology.
- Documents may also be found by Document Title, Date
Created, or Security Classification.
- Once the document is located, it
may be Viewed, Printed, E-Mailed or Faxed.
